Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an Assistant Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting registered nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with patient assessments, providing basic nursing care, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients under your supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist registered nurses and healthcare professionals in conducting patient assessments and documenting vital signs.
  • Provide basic nursing care to patients, including bathing, feeding, and assisting with mobility.
  • Help patients with activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor patients’ condition and report any changes or concerns to the registered nurse or healthcare team.
  • Assist with patient transfers and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent pressure ulcers.
  • Support patients and families by offering emotional support and responding to their inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare and administer medications under the direction of a registered nurse or healthcare provider.
  • Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and other nursing procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Valid nursing license in Europe, Africa and Asia is preferred. 
  • Must hold an IHCAE certificate or be planning to obtain it by the end of this month.
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Additional certifications may be preferred.
  • Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
